Ms. Conlin was the American Association for Justice’s first female President in 1992. She also served as a founder and first chair of the Civil Justice Foundation and President of the Roscoe Pound Foundation. She is the recipient of the Leonard M. Ring Champion of Justice Award. She is also the recipient of a Public Service Award named after her from the Iowa Association of Justice. “The National Law Journal” has named her a Top 10 Trial Lawyer. She is a former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa and the Democratic nominee for Governor (1982) and U.S. Senator (2010).
