Late partner and founder Barry J. Nace secured two of the largest individual jury verdicts in Washington, DC, history, was a Past President of the American Association for Justice, was twice elected President of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC, and chaired the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 2021, TLA-DC named their trial lawyer of the year award the Barry J. Nace Trial Lawyer of the Year Award.
Today, led by Christopher Nace, Nace Law Group continues to build upon this unparalleled courtroom experience alongside a team of seasoned trial attorneys. Christopher Nace is the current Treasurer of the American Association for Justice and a Past President of TLA-DC and the National Civil Justice Institute. Christopher has been awarded the American Association for Justice’s Joe Tonahill Award, Howard Twiggs Award, Pro Bono Award, and Elise Sanguinetti Award. He was TLA-DC’s 2023 Barry J. Nace Trial Lawyer of the Year. Chris also serves on the Boards of the Public Justice Foundation (Emeritus) and the Living Classrooms Foundation of the National Capital Region.
